16" on center rafters - blocking 14.5 inches?

Good evening all,

Just a quick questions if I space all my rafters 16" on center should all my blocking be 14.5 inches?

Can I just cut all my blocking and make them al 14.5inches.

I use to cut everything at once, i use to bend all my fascia at once.

I got sick of burning wood and taking aluminum in for scrap though.

The only thing I cut all at once now, is soffit and that's only if it's new construction and only if I know the framers.
