Any body can tell me what's the best solution and easy to manage a new blog?.. I want to create my own blog, this will be for a general contractor business in Ventura county California, I have zero experience in how or what to do to start a new blog,..I will appreciate if anybody here can tell...

Here's my new tile blog I hand coded strictly in html and css. No wordpress or anything like that. People are always saying around here that if you have a website you should be using blog software, cus Google likes the fresh content. Well, it is in my opinion the search engines do like new...
