My guess would be for someone who wants to spend less than the cabinet saw, and wants more sturdiness than the job site saw? Or they want to buy one saw to fill both needs. Or maybe they rip a lot...

On my Hilti I can scroll through 32nd's, 16th's, 8th's etc. I would have thought all would have the option to get the resolution to whatever is appropriate for the task.

Yeah, I can't stand how they guide the stock. Not as big of a problem on niter saws, but on table saws they become dangerous.

If you're looking for "dead nuts accuracy", you will unfortunately not find it. Everything expands and contracts. Science has even gone away from using the official reference meter, yard, foot etc...

I wish 3M would come out with a Bluetooth version of the Worktunes headset. I hate using the cord, so end up just listening to the radio. Sometimes I would rather listen to Podcasts or audiobooks.

I have had the same setup for a few years now. I'll second extrememtnbiker and recommend the PPS system from 3M. You can see how much paint is left in the cup, and cleanup is faster. It also works...
