You might even be able to use next size up nozzle, it could give you a larger patten.
I used a 115 cfm compressor one year made 50k with it.
Also just rent a 185 or larger...

Your gonna need 1/4 inch nozzle and 3/4 inch line your setup might be good for small metal parts and signs but not larger projects because the 85 cfm unit will limit your blast pattern.

Yes the water in the line displaces air so you need less cfm, the only time a properly engineered system will not work is if the grit that is being used becomes soggy with the addition of water I.E....
