I would pour it, when it's hard enough to walk on, cover it with poly, fill the trench with straw and fold the poly back over the straw to try and keep it dry, or just do it in the Spring.

New method of propping wall.

Saw these in a trade mag today. Advantage over needles seems to be you don't need to go right through the internal masonry. This means no moving of baths,rads, fitted wardrobes and damage to floors...

SNL does hog hunts out of helicopters, says they routinely shoot 60-70 a trip. AR15's are most commonly used weapon but he says 12 gauge with 00 magnum shells work best.

I haven't read an article, but up to 1" offsets are allowed on single top plate - rafter connections. That's a similar structural situation.
