Got an attic that I was going to use as livable rooms when I started out, so I insulated the ceiling below with fiberglass insulation without any vapor barrier. I done this just to muffle any noise...

Tyveck for vapor barrier?

Our building inspector told me that its much better to use tyveck than plastic for a vapor barrier when using uncrafted insulation.
