The tool less feature works perfect. I have never had a blade come loose unless I didn't align the blade correctly before tightening. I use regular blades (they are cheaper), not the slotted ones...

Watch the low spots. That self leveling stuff will pool up on you if you are not careful & it is very difficult to clean up overspill. Use backer rod for large gaps.
