Do you buy from a good stocking dealer? If you did go back to them they may be able to help. I switched from RedWing to Keen but that has more to do with the Keen toe caps and me being a tilesetter...

That was 24x24 through body polished porcelain, I bought the blade through a local vender it is a cheap mesh blade.

Additional I don't think I would bother using water with it.
