What kind of windows? If they are prefinished or vinyl the masking will take less than an hour for all 23 windows. You'll need a 3m m3000 hand masker, 1.5" blue and probably 2' and 4' masking...

Give it more time. Full cure time for oil is around 3 weeks and acrylics take 4 weeks. You mention daytime temps, is this place getting cold at night?
