I was cutting stringers a couple weeks back and was really not enjoying my thin kerf blade and started looking locally for a full kerf 7-1/4 " blade....

I think the 6x6 is going to be notched at the top to accept the double 2x12....but I could be wrong.
That's the only thing I could think that could be spec'd for structural screws that short.
