Drywall & Steel Studs - Impact Driver or Drill??

Broke down and went all 20 volt Dewalt. I found the impact was a lot faster than my old 18v and I canít stop it fast enough on drywall. I keep my old 18v for that now.

Iíve had issues skimming cement board above gas fireplaces. Like the one in your picture. It gets very hot. Mud spider cracked.
