Missed this thread until now. Those are okay for quick & dirty, but wouldn't pass inspection. Rim should be doubled up (depending on span), and definitely not hung off lag bolts.

Here is the latest deck I did. Timbertech Radiance rail and Modernview decking with hidden fasteners. I wish I could just build decks all the time like some of you guys.
