Sounds like a good plan. It'll be pretty expensive. I'd go full length, it'll look better. But, you'll probably have to sell the benefits.

Keep the blade clean(acetone or mineral spirits), works better.

Lincoln is the same way. I put glazer pry bars and 5 in 1's in and keep working it around. Prying makes it easier to cut also....
