Wood, wire and blue board easily. Nails are not an issue, it does not like screws.

The diamond blade---wood not well, blue board not an issue, should be fine with metal....

When you do make the cabinet for the drawers drill the side panels @ 16mm oc instead of 32 mm oc. Gives you more options when laying out the AZ's.
