Do like Warren is doing, curb mounts; that's the frame that you mentioned in the OP. That way if the skylight leaks it's easy to replace (as long as you can get one that matches the curb )

I figured as much with them. I did have 2 lines. The OSHA approved harness that HD sells had the OSHA approved line leading to the roof line and the safety clip was on the D-ring on back of that...
