I'd use the alum. Paintgrip will rust on the inside even faster than reg galvy if it's not painted and maintained. It's a lot less trouble to re-caulk a joint or two than re-paint every 5 years.

There's a standard B vent inside of that. Looks a lot better to my eye than a galvy pipe sticking thru my new copper roof. Then there's the issue of how to flash galvy to copper.
