I've used the trakfast gun for shooting hat channel and wall track. It's FAR easier on the hands, quieter, less smelly (debatable), and much faster, but it's also a lot more bulky and not able to fit...

I have the old Bosch version. JR nailed it...it pops breakers if you bind it in the slightest....it has no torque it's all rpm doing the cutting...10ga cord is a necessity imo and watch throwing...

I use a 5" 1 mm (or thinner) wafer steel slicer blade...they work best because they take out very little material and doesnt melt it like the diamond blades tend to do. I used to use a bacwards...
