This fireplace is 10' wide, 18" deep and 23' tall. We skim coated with concrete instead of pouring. We used Butterfield MT resurfacer, then stained and sealed.

We do the same, except I cap mine with J channel, test is notched into the wall steel, and moisture that it catches runs over the the corner and down...
