      Nice set, weak batteries

Get the 3ah batteries unless you want to make a lot of trips to the charger. Good set otherwise.

It's silly to buy the home owners knock off Makita makes. Buy the Blue. We use 3 blue 18 v impacts on the ipe jobs used 8 hrs straight no recharge problems at all.

      Makita 18v Cordless combo pack/kit.

I bought my kit a couple of years ago, and got one of the last kits they made b/4 they change to the newer model that came out. I found out that the newer model had some design/specs that were different than the last years model/close-out kit I bought, that I didn't think was as good. If I remember correctly, I think the 1/2" drill on mine, is 3spd. and the new model was only 2spd. And the new one was less powerful. Overall I love the Kit, powerful,light-weight,like the lights on them, and LOVE the lithium-ion batteries! I only wish manufactures would have had this light weight, powerful long lasting batteries w/quick charging time, tools years ago, my old body, arms & shoulder would be in better shape today! (Used all the old heavy/batteries that go dead all the time/non-impact driver drills for years!). It's wonderful now though!

      • Pros:
      • Light/Powerful
      • Long-lasting batteriesw/quick charge times.
      • Cons:
      • None

Best cordless I've owned so far

Light, powerful, quick charge, I haven't tried the 3.0 battery yet as they are $100 bucks
