This is a project in the historical downtown Temple, TX. April 2011. RECENT.....not like from X years ago!!!  unlike some other posts!!!

There were no stair nosing available for this wood, so I glued and clamped to boards, rounded the front with router and applied finish,

 

Sorry about the quality of pics.Floor pics were taken just before installation finished, we had cleaned and took some more pics, will post later. I will also get some better pics, when baseboards installed.

    What kind of finish did you apply? It looks like an al/ox prefinish.

    Yeap, it is prefinished with Al/Ox , I've used Traffic at the bullnose.
