I can not express in words the experience of being apart of such a HUGE event.  The fact that it was for the city of Joplin to get back on their feet again, a way to get momentum and get the town rebuilt.. was amazing :)

Our team ( Theresa Coleman Clement, Mark Clement, Zachary Stoltenberg, Greg DiBernardo, Nathan Deneault and Pete Chramiec.) were the build team for the  Extreme Makeover Home Edition's Final Show.  Episode #200 Joplin, Missouri.

To be around people with such strength, courage, graditude, and the hardest working bunch of people not getting paid I have ever seen in my life!  So many people wanted to volunteer that Extreme Makeover Home Edition had to turn people away.. there were just too many people who wanted to help!  :)

The show Airs tonight January 13th on ABC.  Watch for Greg DiBernardo, myself from Contractor Talk, and the rest of over 12,000 people who contributed to this collosal event!

There were over 12,000 volunteers for the Extreme Makeover Home Edition Joplin 7in7 build. Our small team was just one of.. hundreds?! Not sure.. but many man MANY people from all over the US joined in to help.

    Stay Strong Joplin!

The park build was really neat, I got to go up there one night when they were just about done and play a little basketball. I was one of the builders of the 7 homes, the Bohemian, and it was an amazing experience that I will never forget. The fact we had 24 builders, who normally compete for business, join together to build these homes was amazing...and more so the support for the skilled trades and the non skilled volunteers. I've never seen so many people so happy to help and participate no matter what they were doing. Can't wait to see the show tonight.

Its great you guys were there. It's amazing how much has been rebuilt in the path. I returned for the first time to the Home Depot since the tornado, last Sunday, nice to see some of my stores that I frequent reopening. Great job on the 7 houses.

Well thanks to all of you that did help my wife and I both volunteered, got several emails from them but guess they had tons of volunteers. Watch the show the other night, good but alittle hard to watch when you have lived here all your life.
    Thanks again to all.

AWESOME! Glad you guys were connected with it in some way, it was so huge.. I am sure it resonated out quite a bit. Was fun to go into Lowes and have the manager tell me to get whatever I needed :D LOL Was awesome to be apart of and even better to look back on it and to see what all our time donated to a cause can do. This wasn't helping some corporation keep their bonuses.. this was giving back to our people.

People in the heartland are big at heart, and to see the place in the shape it was.. it was a knee jerk reaction to grab something to help. :)

Wanted to give everyone the opurtunity to view this article wrote by my friends at www.MyFixItUpLife.com. It was written by Theresa Coleman Clement, and Mark Clement for Extreme How-To Magazine. It is an article about the Playground we build during the Extreme Makeover Home Edition's Last episode #200 in Joplin, MO. We were there a week and other than a cold snap that lasted a few days, had great weather.. and surrounded by the best group of people you would ever want to be homeless and helping for a good cause with!

Story is starts on page 63, one of my very own pics in featured in it! (Sneaky Pete Chramiec, and Mark Clement are looking over blueprints).

What an experience it was! With all this nasty weather.. could we possibly see the "extreme REAL WOOD team" resurrected for another go?! Time will tell :)
