I started this birdhouse in jan 2009 and just finished it last night . This house is 7 ft tall , 7 ft wide and 5 ft deep . It is made from 100 year old reclaimed barn wood .
Amazing, this is something i could see my father doing too he has atleast 7 birdhouses he builds in his spare time too but nothing to this extent. Great job!
Did you need a building permit for that? I'm not sure that those railings are code compliant.
Your work, sir, is top notch. I am always amazed at what you pull off.
That's quite a project, very detailed and looks great.
People from all around will "flock" to see it!
Rapunzel, Rapunzel, why'd you do that in my eye? That is some very nice work. A little obsessive, but extremely crafty. Bravo!
wow, you must really like birds it looks gooodddddd
Is you rental agreement going to say "No Peckers allowed"?..
uhhhhh.... is work really that slow?
Thanks everyone for the nice comments ! I have had over 400 people at my place just in the last 3 weeks looking at my work .The township i live in has designated my place as a tour attraction and they promote me on their site so i get lots of visitors now .
That is absolutely amazing. About how many hours do you estimate you put into it?
It would be a shame for it to be covered in bird droppings... but I suppose you expected that. Don't suppose you wired it for lighting? :)
This birdhouse took about 80- 100 hours total over a 2 1/2 year period . They don,t actually crap all over them at all . They do that in my neighbours yard :-)
