The clients was tired of carpeted stair and wanted to match the existing wood floors (floors was 2 years old-done by someone else)
Scope of the job:
Remove the carpet and false treads
Install custom made solid Brazilian Cherry treads (done at shop) with return pieces
Risers with high gloss white melamine boards
Add flute and new Brazilian Cherry newel post( buy from supplier)
Add bowed starting step (done at shop)
I have stained the oak handrail as they didn't want to spend for a new one, we matched pretty good
Replace all iron blusters.
I've applied DuraSeal Natural stain +2 coats of Bona Traffic on shop and 1 final coat of Bona on site.
I've finished the handrail with 5 coats of Bona.
They were so happy, they promised a great review on Houzz
