Call a cutting and coring contractor. I could give you contact info on several in middle tn, but you probably don't want to pay the trip charge to Canada.

I have never regretted spending the money to get it done quickly and cleanly by someone who does it every day.

ICS concrete chainsaw.
Will plunge cut a window.
They are $$$$$. And around here to rent one they charge a set price for 5 min or 5 days, The cost to replace blade, which is about $300.

So call a pro who already owns one and let him supply the labor as well. Try it, you'll like it!

wow the concrete chainsaw is new to me. never seen that before. ive used the other saws before the big one and little one and it was actually to cut out a window where the damn form carpenters forgot to make a blockout for it.

I own an ICS saw, mine has a wet kit, I like it.

I also own a Partner wheel saw with a wet kit, it will get the job done as well, but it will be more time consuming.

I own my ICS as well. Was just offering the rental info for the OP.
I also own several rainsuits for using it. They love water as much as they love fuel.

I've had to have the Coring Comp. cut a couple windows with the ICS and it's the Sh^t. First time I saw it work it was just cool. Call a concrete coring company have them do it, you won't be sorry. With the chain saw type you don't get the over cut like a circular type saw.

Wall is 8" thick.

I am in northern Saskatchewan. There is no one in the area that does it, would have to get someone from 2 hours away. Not sure the cost on that.

Talking to someone tonight who says the rental place has a saw that will do it. $1000.00/day:eek:

But it would be a clean nice hole, so probably worth it.

I was just about to suggest the same thing, a 7" angle grinder with a skill saw concrete blade on it works fast. Just plunge cut along the outline of the hole. Then make a series of relive cuts and knock it out with a hammer. Similar to notching a 2x4 and knocking it out with a hammer. If the hole isn't too big you can do it in just a few hours time.
