Any body ever work with this?

I have a client that wants to redo their house with Diamond Kote, lap siding. New soffit/fascia whole nine yards. I've been looking through their website and figuring it out.

Existing house is a modular. The exterior siding is the only sheathing on the exterior, so we will leave that in place. Pull the trim boards and then tyvek right over the existing siding. The existing is 4x8 and 4x9 fake T-111.

It seems pretty straight forward, just have to be dead on with material take-off. There are also a lot of fixtures on the house to deal with. Light fixtures and outlets, AC lineset, elec meter, furnace intake/exhaust etc.

Any words of wisdom here?

Pretty much the same as LP Smart Side , think they make the panel then another company put the plastic strip in the back. Much like the old Masonite siding , Canexcel siding except is an OSB type product.
Have never used the stuff, steel only for me, but I do believe it holds down nicer then like Hardi or regular Smart side.
If you are not able to cut in the lites , outlets and suck I would recommend the mounting block route. Most part cut things in and use a good caulk , Quad.
Hope helps some.
Also once you get it started right just need to make sure it is down tight , and very little room to adjust like you can with Hardi or Smart side.

I wouldn't use diamond coat product. It is absolute garbage.
