Wondering if anyone uses angi leads, and has anything good to say? I'm slightly intrigued, they call me once a month and are very pushy, which makes me believe it's probably not that great. I tried searching the forum but don't see any real experiences. I truly don't need the leads, but in the future if I find myself caught up, might consider this route, I don't know.
I would not use them they charge you for the lead even if the customer is just wanting a price to compare with another company. I paid $53 for a lead that ended up the customer saying my husband is going to fix it. once they seen how much it would cost them.

Don't use it. They are terrible and ridiculously overpriced. Not to mention the insane high pressure sales tactics that make me want to delete my phone number. Thumbtack is a little better, but not as many leads. If you really want to Ramp your business focus on getting more google reviews which will boost you in the organic search rankings. Also make sure you have a clear process for converting prospects when they come to your site. We use a tool called ez-bild on our site which sends customers through forms and then gives them quotes them based on the answers to the questions. It's really helped us convert more. Feel free to check it out on our site https://www.neradondoc.com/ just click get immediate quote. DON'T USE ANGI LEADS.

Angi Leads is a scam. Companies beware. You pay for “leads” but they send you fake names and phone numbers to charge you for and refuse to refund you even if the phone number is invalid and the email address gets returned. Save your money and try Thumbtack.

Angi Leads is totally a scam. Contractors these type of companies will leach off of you and kill your profit margins. I've made the mistake of working with them recently and truly regret it. The leads they send to install a light switch or troubleshoot a fixture are $75. Now if you run a respectable business and don't create work that's not there in order to uncharge you customer needlessly then you will likely barely make anything on a job like this. So Angi has wedged itself between you and your customer and you're paying them to do it. As you probably are aware of Google and Yelp is already doing that to us so why give more of your profits to these scammers.

Complete scam!!!! They charge $25-$65 for these fake leads claiming some of them are ready for work immediately. These so called leads have bad numbers, never respond, some ask for services you don’t even offer. I really believe they create the fake leads and steal your money!!! You have to waste time and call them to request credits for all of the spam calls. Once you get sick of that and you ask for a refund , they will tell you about some imaginary loop hole in the contract you sign with them that says if you don’t call a lead within 5 minutes you have violated the terms of the contract and no longer can get a refund. In summary, they charge you for spam leads, and then when you don’t respond to those Spam leads in five minutes you somehow are no longer applicable for refund. They spend the first 20 to 30 minutes of the sales call repeatedly telling you that you will get your money back if you don’t like the service, No questions asked. To turn around and do the complete opposite after they have your money.

I know it's an older thread but I gotta say, back in the day the ROI for Angie's List was at least 600% better than any other marketing we did. I wasn't the only one who had great experiences with them either, but those days are long gone.

I remember making a post on PaintTalk back in 2016 when they did their first major restructure for the worse regarding no longer charging membership fees for people to use their service. The only great selling point back then was that you could usually trust the reviews, since members paid to be there and the services they used were confirmed. As soon as they opened the gates, it watered down all the good reviews, inflated all the sketchy ones, and reviews couldn't be trusted. Not only that, but the revenue lost from not charging a basic user fee had to made up somewhere, and they did so primarily out of the pockets of the Contractors who paid to advertise with them. I never advertised with them again, and since not paying, I don't think I've gotten a single job from someone finding me there. They've continued to spiral down the toilet ever since.

Hi,
I've been using Angi's leads for about 5yrs. They were better as Home advisor. They are pretty crappy unless you figure out how to use them properly to your benefit. So bear with me as I try to explain this.

Angis sends you leads for certain amount of $ for each lead. You are not guaranteed to get that job because the lead goes to multiple contractors in the same field. Trust me i was PISSED the 1st few months on how much i was putting out $$$$ weekly. Till I figured it out. Now my business is pretty stable but Angis has made me well over 100k a year every year. And I'm not BS'ing you. So the way I do it is: Angis gives you an option to leave your leads on and they just keep flowing in and ubget charged. But you can turn the leads off and leave it off then after a few hours or maybe a day Angis will send you opportunities that you can look at and accept or decline. Now if u accept and that client accepts you get charged. But that client AT LEAST FOR ME has been a 90% success rate of landing that job. But yes Angi's sucks unless u do it right. Like this week I'm using it. I've get billed $262.00 on Friday but I've made over $2500.00 from those leads. So for me I can't really ***** to much. Hope it helps.

I have used Angie as a pro but the leads cost me about 50% of my profit for that job and that is for the ones I get. There is really only about 1 out of 4 leads that seem to be real so that really hurts my business. I keep putting my leads paused so I don't keep getting so many bogus leads.

Worst company ever Now I find that there was also a law suit against them and they lost. I just signed got first lead and asked to be charged 190$ for something that the customer just told me that he has someone else to quote a price the next day. I asked to immediately cancel and refund my Anji leads payment as it make no sense the business approach that they charge before I know if the lead is even valid. totally scam and not recommended at all.

I would highly recommend Angi leads for your business. I have built my whole company with this platform as well as many other folks that I have recommended to this company. Never let another company failure depend on your success with Angi Leads and their customer service is the best. I understand they have a money back guarantee for their pros.

Hint, Angi was bought by Home Advisor. Home Advisor used to be Service Magic.

They suck so much they have to keep rebranding.
Untrue facts. Home Advisor is now powdered by Angi Leads and Angi list is now know as Angi Ads. Have been in business since the 1990’s and is the #1 home networking business in the nation.
