Moved into our house (6 months ago) and there was severe dusting on the driveway. The builder said they would do nothing to resolve. A contractor recommended I put a commerical grade densifier/hardener down, which I did. Two coats and it helped but the dusting remains. I have had some local concrete contractors look at and they say too much water was in the mix or added or it rained during the curing process. The driveway not only dusts but has loose sand on the top and several pits/holes in places. All of the expanion joints have cracked as well plus a small crack is starting in one of the pads.

I have asked the builder to repair. May have to seek legal action asking for them to replace the entire driveway.

In your professional experience, can this driveway be salvaged?
