Is there a "coolest/best" hard hat? Something that makes you think "that's a nice hard hat."

I'm looking to get some new hard hats, and don't want to go with the basic Grainger special. Beyond keeping my team safe, what's something that will look cool, keep us cool, and be comfortable all day.

Just like boots, I'm not looking to save money on something I'll be using a thousand hours per year.

This is true thanks to obstacle avoidance, but unfortunately, I didn't come with that feature.

I've been wearing Lift/Dax. I like it. It's the first time I've ever worn one regularly but it seems comfortable and I Don't get called Bob the builder. 😂 The more experienced guys seem to like it too.

In some situations it could be part of Branding. No different than signage or uniforms.

I have a normal hardhat, but with the flag covering it. Everyone seems to like it. I've had it for years, but rarely need to wear it.

Still using the plain white model that I got in the early 90s. Probably wouldn't stand up to an OSHA Inspection. Not like I go on jobs where it's required anymore. It also isn't very white anymore.

Trash transfer station here requires a vest and hard hat while you dump. I'm tempted to get one of those cowboy hat jobs just to mess with 'em.

Yea one of the dumps I go to requires them as well

Kinda silly to require a hard hat there but I do at least understand the vest

Yep, need a vest and HH at the transfer here. At $275 a ton I have been using dumpsters as it's cheaper. I will keep my 12 yard dump trailer for small stuff but not worth if for additions and kitchens.
