Picked up a 6x16 V-nose all aluminum double-axle trailer recently, at an insane low price. Extremely excited to get this trailer outfitted. I've been without one for awhile now and it sucks.
I hope to incorporate a lot of ideas I've picked up here, as well as not repeat various mistakes I made with my last few trailers.
Oddly, I'm most excited to build out the nose into a mini kitchenette and office work station. Small air fryer, dorm size little tiny fridge or electric cooler.
Other must haves are a dedicated wall space for my table saw, and storage for a few lengths of common lumber and trim pieces, etc. Sure will be nice to have my 28' extension ladder inside too. Going to have a built in box for it to lay flat along one wall.
Gutted the trailer recently, then started insulation today. 1" rigid foam, R-6. Head space inside is good enough to allow for me to insulate and cover the ceiling with 1/4" pine ply.
After wall panels and trim go back up, every wood surface in that trailer is getting light gray Dry-Lok, two coats, followed by shop flooring of some kind or another ok the floor.
After that, rough wiring, including shore power and battery backup system with small transfer switch.
