Any recommendations for really good caulk for painted interior trim? I can’t seem to get Shermax anymore, I’ve heard some good things about Tower Tech but some bad too. I can get by with white lightning products and 950 A but I’m curious if there are any better options out there.

I use Quad when doing siding.
Paint grade interior trim I just use Alex Plus painters caulk.
If it’s in a Bathroom window jamb where I might be concerned about condensation, I’ll use Alex 230.

I use the 230 also or Big Stretch

I’ll have to give the Big Stretch a try, it looks like Lowe’s has some near here. Maybe I’ll try the 230, too, is that the Dynaflex 230? That stuff seemed alright but I’m always a little Leary of anything dap.

Shermax was my go to, also like Maxflex. Alex Plus is good and Big Stretch is ok, I don’t care for white lightening caulks they are not as easy to work with / smooth out.

I like the Dap quick dry stuff for interior. I'm becoming a Quad Max fan for exterior.

Never had problems with DAP products.

You use those small tubes to caulk an entire interior? That's crazy.
I would suggest trying several different caulk guns. Some are better at small beads than others. Also, try different caulks.

Don't use the stupid clicker ones. Ones with high thrust ratio work the best IMO.
