Thanks for the feedback. If its not too much to ask, do you have any specific pointers?
I already gave you a specific suggestion. Hire this out please.

It always amazes me that guys who would never dream of cutting their own hair somehow believe they are capable of writing their own website copy.

Can you imagine what an addition would look like if a copywriter built it? Same thing.

Hey guys!
I hope this the appropriate place for this. I'm helping my company complete a new web design and was hoping some of you might have some insightful critiques of the design. I still have more to add, but the design is pretty close to finished

So I looked over your site.
Its not bad but here are a few pointers that I spotted:

  • Reduce your header. It's taking up a huge chunk of the landing space. Your logo is nice but it doesn't need to be the focal point. Move the logo a bit to the left and reduce the size.
  • Have your contact info in the header. Some leads will just want your contact info right away. Make sure its href linked so mobile users can press on it!
  • Your Hero Section doesn't have a CTA. What I mean is some sort of button in the Rotating Gallery right below the header. Try something like "Get A Free Estimate!"
  • You need to have some header that address who you are and the target client. 60% of leads will NOT scroll anymore than whatever is loaded right at the start.
Try to address the few things above and you WILL see a big difference! Make sure your website is mobile responsive. >60% of visitors are on mobile.

If you have any questions feel free to ask!

Nice looking site!
There are a few things you can do to improve it
  • You don't need to say Concrete on every tab in the 'Services' section, at that point people already know you do concrete, just keep the types (Driveway, patio, etc).
  • Replace the Stock photo with your staff members. Visitors can see a stock photo a mile away. Many other sites run stock photos as well. Doing a personalized photo will establish trust and credibility like you won't believe!
  • Include a personal video show you talking about your mission to the client. Building trust and rapport tool that will set you apart!
  • The About could use some personalization as well. You said that you are a family business, include a photo of your staff here to show your clients that you are a family!

Yo, what's up! Checked out your new web design on in-yarak.com, and I gotta say, it's looking pretty slick! The layout is clean, and the color scheme is dope. I like how the navigation is easy to use, and the pages load up quickly. It's obvious you've put some solid work into it. As for critiques, I'm not seeing any major flaws at the moment. Perhaps you could add some more content to make it pop a bit more. Also, have you considered optimizing it for SEO? I think web design north wales could help you with that. You could probably rank higher in searches with some keyword research and on-page optimization.

not bad...not bad

What platform is that, Wix?
Yes, that platform could be Wix! Wix is a popular website builder known for its user-friendly drag-and-drop interface and wide range of design templates. It allows you to create professional-looking websites without any coding knowledge. While there are other website builders, Wix is a strong possibility if the site seems easy to edit and has a polished look.

I don't think it's Wix, just a WordPress site.

I would run a page speed insight report and have the devs work on some of those issues on the report. Its technical but important feedback.

When I ran the test it received a 30/100 on performance for mobile, 46/100 for desktop. Basically, it looks nice & slick, but if no one can see it, it doesn't matter what it looks like.

Here's a link to run these tests (for anyone else interested too)...

When I helped redesign my company’s site, one thing that really stood out was testing the user journey. We realized some of our navigation links weren’t intuitive, so we reworked them to make it easier for visitors to find key information.

I also learned the importance of keeping the call-to-action buttons prominent, they can make a huge difference in engagement.

Another thing we focused on was ensuring the site was mobile-friendly. A lot of our feedback came from checking how the design performed on different devices. If you’re looking to optimize your site for better performance and visibility, I found some great insights here, which really helped fine-tune our final version.

Copywriting 101...its not about you or your company...at first. It is about what problems your target audience suffer and how you are going to help them. Or what goal they are trying to accomplish and how you will help them achieve it. Always start with your customer persona and ask from their perspective, "What's in it for me?"
Trade competency proof elements come in the form of testimonials, case studies, helpful authoritative articles, and so on.
Your keyword research should be around what your target audience is searching for digitally. Your headings should be specific to this research.
Your homepage is a branding title which is okay. Your meta description needs improvement. Who's your target audience and what goals are they seeking through digital searches? ",H! is not helpful for SEO..."Your dream, our build" needs improvement. You repeat yourself in your H2. Work on headlines that answer your target audience's pain points if you can.

Your other pages need H1 & H2. This is a place to start. It ain't as easy as it looks...digital marketing.
