I'm getting rid of my propane service and buying a 100 lb tank that I can take and get refilled. I've looked for straps made to keep this tank attached to the wall but have come up empty.

The diameter is 15" and the circumference is 47".

Anyone know of anything? Thanks.

any fire code issues being that close to the house?
The big one there now is probably 2" away. Don't think so.

I'm having it professionally hooked up as there are some different regulators I'm not sure about.

The only propane appliances in the house are the stove and oven. I was "prepping" almost 12 years ago (still am) and decided to go with a big tank...just in case. They topped it off 5 years ago with 7 lbs or gallons. It's almost empty now.

The reason I'm changing is...they get you coming and going. I didn't use enough for watchdog service so let's charge him $75 for the wasted non-delivery. I stopped that so they decided to charge me $50 per year for tank rental. Plus, I called about propane a few months ago and since I'm not buying that much....almost $5.00 per gallon.

I know they have to cover costs so that's not a complaint. I can get this 100 lb tank filled for $67.00. Move it onto my trailer...tie it down vertically and off to the station.

$2.80ish a gallon. Still kinda high. But then again I'm buying 300+ gallons at a time.

"100lb propane tank straps" is what I searched in Amazon.

If you're looking for this fella, Gizmo is the perfect term

Just like anyone does. You roll it at a 20Âş angle from vertical.
