The job is not over till the paper work is caught up....

A complete list of tools, Parts, and stock with their location, Excel maybe? something searchable by PC/ smart phone.

And hourly $ rate to internally charge every job it is one? Per mile transport cost?

Pictures of every draw and shelf for training help? And insurance claims?

Don't forget the OSHA regs and forms needed, and any job posters, MSD sheets on electronic file....

Interesting thread. I’m looking for a new trailer. I don’t want to, but I’ve outgrown my 7x12 and it is literally falling apart as I go down the road. Looking at aluminum framed trailers as well, but my initial quote for a trailer was $12k-$13k. I need to rework my requirements.

Going aluminum saves weighted payload. I got this trailer on sale and saved more $ because I paid cash. List price for my trailer was over $11,000.

I know it’s not a trailer but I’ve had good luck with box trucks! We painted the floor with epoxy something something from Sherwin Williams, so tomorrow we can build!
I’m a fan of 1/2” osb and 2x2 for shelves and benches so nothing too fancy for us!!! But it’s fun to have a clean slate!!

Most of the ideas I used for my box van came from trailer build threads.

Funny. The way I stumbled upon CT talk was I was looking for different ideas of how other gutter guys set up there box trucks on google and ended up here.

Was never a member of any other forum and joined within 5 minutes. Probably would have started off better if I lurked for a few days [emoji23]
