I'd probably use tin snips, slice up one corner so you can bend the off cut out of your way as you go, and use the right and left hand snips as needed.

The seam would probably need the multi tool or the grinder.

I don't think you'll be happy cutting the whole thing with the multi tool, unless it's supported some way like TNT and Mark mentioned.

How about a nibbler or power shears? Cut off the 2 or 3 sides you can see first then the 1 or 2 against the wall.

Worse case, you can just drill small holes across the back. I think a multi tool would be the way to go. A fine metal blade and go slow.

Are they aluminum? Just cut the sides off and then score the back. Multitool the seam.

Or call the roofer/gutter guy and tell him to fix it.

The spout doesn't look like it stands off enough to make it all the way to the back. You'd still have an inch/inch and a half to cut through on the sides and then the back to deal with.

If they're uniformly grindable, I'd hit the bends with a grinder, then if it's light enough to snip, snip away!

With the grinder, I wouldn't try to grind the whole thing off in one shot. Grind yourself a 45ish degree angle on the sides after you go straight across the front, then you can remove that pie shaped piece would *should* let you get access to the back.

Anything recip seems like a vibrating nightmare where one catch could mess up the whole gutter.

Welp, good luck! Please update for the benefit of future us's.

This would be the cats titties for his application, kinda spendy for a one time use though.

I would still go with left and right snips, combined with grinder for the seam.

I have done those before, just used a hacksaw. But i first cut below line then at line because my hacksaw could not cut 6" deep. My hacksaw has a spot to hold the blade at 45 deg, to finish cut. Took a while.

I've cut that stuff with a metal cutting blade in a Milwaukee metal circular saw. Just go slow or use backing.

Mike.
