large nest in attic

Does anyone know what kind of nest i found in this attic ? its over 16" in diameter?

Yup, thats a typical Squirrel nest. I had one in a house I was renting 20+ years ago, when the little ones grew, all day long screeching and chasing all over the attic. Had to run em out and seal their entrance... 2 years later they were back!

That thing is huge. I have many squirrels nest in trees in my yard they look nothing like that.
Does your roof leak cause that looks like beaver to me

Looks like a fire hazzard to me.

All it would take is a leak in the roof to get that hay ball smoldering.

Yeah , i noticed that also . But i really need to replace all that old 1950s aluminum wiring before the place burns down. It only has 6 breakers on a single phase, then i can insulate. I also want to add central AC , but theres a limit you want to spend on a rental property.

that looks like a nest for a Hay Snake. Grows 7' long and will eventually eat any small animals in the house - only known predator to take it on is the Money Snake.

Nest in Attic

I was a nest of squirrels , about a dozen teenagers and one Big Bad Mamma . I sucked most of them up with a large shopvac real quick . I shot the rest with a 22 rifle with rat shot ammo .

Its like a small shotgun that shoots a 8 in patthern , silent , but deadly.

After that i covered the place with poison.
