ive done many hardiplank siding jobs, and ive tried many different cutting methods.
Since Im here I figured I would see what other professionals opinions are for the best way to cut it. And what techniques and tips they can offer to make the best cuts.
Score and snap? Electric shears? jigsaw with carbide coated blade? circular saw with hardi blade?
Weve used a chop saw with an old blade before and just swap out for another old throw away when it gets bad, but it creates a ridiculous ammoount of dust. but its fast and leaves a good cut.
never been able to get the shears to leave a clean cut, maybe a technique you found that will help me?
havent tried the jigsaw blade or an actual hardi blade for circular saw.
Any suggestions are much appreciated, id like some advice before spending money on a new tool or expensive blade for next siding job.
