last time i took a tub i think i got about $20 for it or somwhere around there. If you can leave it in front of a house in a bad neighborhood, and no one takes it, then you know it doesnt have a high scrap value.
 
If it's coming out in one piece anyway,
there are re-sale places that will pay
a lot more than scrap prices.
Look under "architectural salvage."
It isn't worth too much extra work
unless it's some 100 year old treasure.

Yes. That is the truth but a bit of work.

a truck rolls up as I'm unloading tools and a guy walks over and offers me $5 for the tub. I counter w/ $8, tell him he can probably get $20 and save the hassle of hauling that heavy tub to my scrap trailer-It's a deal to me!
