That's all I use.

But I never understood buying a level that costs 3x as much that's accuracy is the same. I've actually used 3 stabilas that were off. 3 different peoples.
Hey everyone! I don't comment on here much at all, but I've been reading through some posts the last few days. There are lots of great tools and good advice mentioned in here. I just wanted to chime in and say that Stabila levels are lifetime warranty.

So if you think you're spending too much, well, you'll never have to buy another level again. I bought the "Jamber Set" when I was 18 years old. my 78" level seemed to be off a little bit. It had it's fair share of falls. I took it into a local hardware store that carries Stabila. He checked it on the door frame, flipped it over, and said "Yep, go grab a new one off the shelve." It was that easy

Not to get in a pissing match, but so does empire, Stanley, and bostitch.

-Laser level (I have the dewalt "laser chalk line")
Great for doing panelling, t-bar ceilings, and all kinds of stuff, I've even used it to install door jambs!

-Spring tools:

...but now I'm going to try that thing with my brad nailer... lol:thumbup:

-Mechanical pencils 0.5mm
Make nice clean marks!

-Cordless brad nailer
I use a Ryobi with the nice 4Ah batteries and it has replaced my old air nailer and compressor. I've been using it for almost 2 years now and it's still blasting away.
I know some guys use the Paslode nailers but it seems like a pain in the ass to use the fuel AND battery. (I have the Paslode framing nailer and love it but it needs the extra oomph)
Either way a cordless nailer is great to have.

-It's been mentioned but the combo square is also a personal favourite

Good list!

I like my super strong 1/2" magnet more than my 5 stud finders. And it's always stuck to the lid of my tool box when I need it
I got a few super magnets out of old hard drives. Stick one on a stud, then pull your tape and fire off every 16" for nailing off trim. ;)

I think I'm up to 500 lbs of must haves...

So far I like them all:thumbsup:
A customer tried to pick up my tool tote today, she couldn't lift it, she said what the hell do you have in here? Lots of hand tools, duh...
