How big is your garage door.? My vans are over 11' with ladder racks on top. I'd wait as long as it took to get the right set up. Machine is gonna make you tons of money another few weeks ain't chit. You said you've been subbing so sub a few more jobs
Garage door is 12' I think.

The machine already has jobs waiting, (Good profit jobs) I gotta get it on the job! The whole reason I ordered my own is cause my sub fell off the face of the earth. I've been to his house and it's deserted. Phone goes to VM. Texting goes unanswered.

Wanna come south for a week?

Here's some pictures of my shop, I guess the door is 12'...?

Nice set up. Looks like it will be real tight space if you stock a lot if material plus try to pull a cube van in. Have to be super organized. But what do I know I've been doing it for 22 years and don't have a shop. I park at my supply house plus I have a 16' cube van box that I keep stuff in.

No way that door is 12' its 9' at most you might want to check before purchasing a 40,000 cube van

I think you're right, the cardboard box beside it contains 10' drip edge.

Cube van would be outside anyway, it wouldn't fit lengthwise. The truck in the picture is an 08 f150, 8' bed and it's too long to fit.

I have no clue what to do yet ....maybe a few beers and it will hit me.

You have a fork lift at your shop? How will you load coils?

The local supplier will do it and if needed my neighbors are a produce company with forklifts. Almost everything here is white gutter. I ordered 2 spools and one cradle so I'm planning on loading one roll of 6" and one roll of 5" on each spool and using the cradle for small stuff. For example I have 24' of wicker to run out, not enough to justify a spool change so I'll use the cradle.

I figure worst case, I'll use a cherry picker meant for pulling motors.

Loading a 5" coil is fun enough solo...a 6" coil is...worse! You guys do much 80° white? we're low gloss around here...
It's a regional thing that I still don't get. 80 degree is the standard around here. Supplier in Illinois dosnt even carry anything in 80 he says nobody uses. Weird

Awesome machine good luck with it . We both know that your shops days are numbered. You looking for something else or gonna deal with the tight quarters for a while?
Thanks! I have 15 months left here and I just blew a ton of reserve capitol, I'm not going anywhere!!! By the way, can you loan me some coil til Friday...lol I'm kidding.

Funny side note, my fiancé got her ring appraised the same day the machine was delivered. Her rings are worth more than the machine and the trailer. I told her at least my shiny new toys MAKE money. Did I mention I'm typing this from the dog house?

Did you get a primer on how to change the machine from 5 to 6"?
yeah, but it went in one ear and out the other. I was too excited to listen. I have a manual and they sent a dvr with videos and power points. Tomorrow morning I have to figure it out. Can't be too hard.... I hope.
