Well guys one week into learning how to blast i blasted my arm. So i was wondering what was your work blasting injury.

Man I bet that hurt. Bet you get a longer blast coat to use.

I was once blasting dry ice side by side on scaffold with one of my employee's - he was blasting dry ice as well.
Well, the trigger mechanism on his blaster has a lag time once you release the trigger. He released trigger and turned towards myself without thinking it's still blasting - shot me in the shoulder area. I was only wearing a tyvek suit, nothing under because we were in environment that was 90 degrees plus. Dry ice pellets range in size, 1/4-1/2 inch in length...I was in the bath room pulling pellets out of my shoulder at the same time they were burning my flesh - it hurt like a son of a B#@%$...at least they cotterized the cuts...lol

When your weekend consists of hosting the family reunion/get together because your sister in law, who you just love to death, just got out of jail, and everyone brings all their kids and god knows who else's kids to your house and then drink all your alcohol and beer and then forget they brought their kids and let them run all over your place trashing everything and making a mess out of the back yard two days after you just landscaped and re-mulched and edged all the beds, yeah I am happy to return to the grind where all those offenses are fireable.

Try using corn cob or walnut. Lol!! Sorry man, couldn't resist!
Keep it disinfected and bandaged. Other than that, go to a doctor. You shouldn't be scraping stuff out yourself. Watch for infection.

I got blasted in the face this yr when the cable on my swing stage wore through my deadman. Hey it's the life of a blaster atleast i didnt lose my eyes
