Long story short one of the houses that I'm working on building didn't go so well and the wall that was shot on using a concrete pump+air compressor did not come out completely smooth/uniform/flushed. The wall is a bit wavy in some places and bow's out in others. It's not absolutely horrible but it certainly could use some improvement. The first time we shot the wall on the concrete set up before the guys had a chance to screed it and finish, which made fixing it the 2nd time around difficult due to having no grade so the finishers had to eyeball it unfortunately. At this point though is stucco'ing it the only real way to try to get it looking presentable?

I can't really tell how bad it looks though and am told by some people that just painting it may look fine.

Yes, I know, not too appealing at the moment :)

well, we shot the walls on using a shotcrete mix, concrete with no gravel. We shot from inside first then the outside and used blockouts for the windows and doors so we can pop them out once the frame of the house is shot. But because of what I mentioned in my first post it was difficult to get it to be completely flat, and as a result its a bit more uneven than what would show in the picture. I'm looking for options I may be overlooking for just getting it flat. One is to shoot the piano wire again for where the wall would be even and then just shoot another coat of shotcrete to bring the wall out more and even out. This was how we damage controlled the 2nd time though and its hard to get it right with no grade. Was considering just stucco'ing it to finish it. Could maybe look into a concrete grinder to try to grind down the spots that are uneven but that seems like it would involve more eyeballing.

I used shock crete to finish a whine cellar once it was wavy & the costumer really liked it but thats a whine cellar. I've never seen a whole house done like that IMO I think it looks cool but then I like abstract.

I'd try & sell it to the costumer first & see what they say U never know?
