Is it just me or does everyone have a lot of trouble with jams, misfires and seal failure on 1/4" crown staplers? I have a couple of PC's and a Bostitch. Right now only one of the PC's is working. I don't have this kind of trouble with other kinds of nailers.

I use a crown stapler more than most I would wager. We use them for underlayment fastening, sometimes to the tune of 30+ sheets at a clip. Literally firing non-stop, bump fire, all day type of use. The absolute best I have used is my old school Hitachi. I have used Senco, Bostich (second favorite), Duo-Fast, Porter-Cable, Ridgid, Craftsman, and probably a few others I can't remember. Hitachi crushes them all imo. Now that I think of it all of my favored air guns are Hitachi.

I’ve have one of the PC 1-1/2" NC staplers that I think is probably around 6-years old now. I don’t recall having too many jambs, but do have the occasional misfire with it. Usually giving it a good cleaning takes care of the problem though.

I have about 20,000 through my Ridgid...no one jam yet. I got the Ridgid ones b/c they are orange, easy to get, on sale and no one else I have worked with has them. LOL...and they match my paslodes...orange...

Senco and PC brand staples. mostly use 1 and 1.5" length

Take the durn thing apart. Don't see anything obvious. Put it back together. Works fine. Same song, verse 212.

Yeah, I've had great luck with "factory reconditioned" tools, except for a Dewalt Hammer Drill. But then again, once I got a Bosch rotary hammer, the Dewalt hammer drill is just a garage sale item.

Put that many through it every couple hours and report back :whistling:laughing:

I bet ya a dollar the drive pin is bent, it misfires every third rack, and you become an impromptu Kobe impersonator as you ****-can it from outside the 3 point line

Ridgid air tools are for hobbyists in my unfortunate experiences :censored:

guess thats why they offer a lifetime warranty on them

I've got a Rigid 2" brad gun--Best gun in the rack I have a lot of brad guns-Senco-Bostich-you name it.

I have no idea if any of their other guns are good or junk--but the 2" brad gun works well,

It is a good gun...on thing I noticed is the Sencos leave a slighly smaller hole.
