Hey I am embarrassed to say that I am a Journeyman Carpenter and I have never heard the term Over-framing. I looked it up on Google a bit to see what it was. It is nothing that I have even see before. I was wondering if anyone new much about it? The sites I found didn't tell me much. I seems like it for vaulted ceilings with open rafters so you can get lights and iso-insulation in from the outside, keeping the open rafter look. Anyone have much experience in this? I am curious of the process.
