Re: Come On, Share Some Pictures Of Your Work...

Blast off that was a 12' long screed. The rental store where it came from are friends of mine and they do more construction type rental...not so much to the homeowner. It was sort of a test for both of us....me to see how long it would take...and for them to see how my Geo-blaster works on some of their equipment. I used New Age 40/70 on it with 40 psi. I did switch to 20/40 to see how it worked. It is faster but also left a rougher finish on the aluminum. Any more I do will be with 40/70 for a smoother finish. A concrete company owner came in while I was there returning the screed. They had him look at it and he said it was a little rough. I showed him pictures of it before I started. He said it was way better after blasting than before. He said probably one of the biggest things he saw come out of it was removing all the concrete and it made it lighter. He said that was going to be noticeable to the guy running it. I had 40-45 minutes in it and I told them I'd want one Ben Franklin to do it. I could probably do the next ones faster but also told them 1/2" of concrete all over it was going to take longer so ......more money.

Latest project of mine. 40 foot nh3 transport. Have about 8 hours of blasting all by my self. Used regular sand that is available locally very cheap here. Primed with ppg CRE primer and painted with AUE 360. Big and tiring job for one person but pays good.

Hey Condi
Welcome
Blasted the tank with soda at around 40 psi, surprisingly only had three layers of paint on it
