Fireplace

Heres a little fireplace me and another guy did a couple days ago. It took about 12 hours. Its thin cut field stone from a quarry up in Mountain WI. They dont cut it there, but thats where we get all of our 'fieldstone' from.

Re: Fireplace

Not a huge fan of river stone/field stone whatever, but you did a good job.

Honestly, its hard to make those river rock veneers look good. You did it here. Nice job, and thanks for sharing. Digggin the thick hearth stone.

Re: Fireplace

Although I'm not a big fan of the field stone look anymore, the install looks great to me.......

Mind sharing the stone suppler name with me? I've got a good friend who lives in Mountain, and would take the drive if they are worth it. I've been using Buechel for years, but it seems there prices & lead time continue to grow, while their quality plummets.....

Re: Fireplace

Looks like a mason put that together, instead of a cultured stone installer
