Rohl Sucks Balls

Oh and it's probably not news here, and I'm sure opinions differ, but I hate that Italian crap. BTW, an Italian 3/4 pipe thread is not the same as anyone else's, lovely.

If you are trying to thread an Asian made fitting into an Italian threaded valve you are going to have problems.

I dislike Rohl for my own reasons, but their quality in function is unquestionable.

I and a good customer of mine would disagree, a $1800 bridge faucet should last more than 4 years and the $1800 replacement should work correctly from the factory.

The 4 year was not covered under warranty because the receipt they had did not have their name on it. The second one failed right from the factory and they had to buy a 3rd one to replace the failed one. The would not send the 3rd one without receiving the 2nd one first. Customer dod not want to be without a faucet for 2 1/2 weeks.

Not many people care if the faucet comes in a felt bag if it does not work.

Do you have a picture of that faucet? I don't believe I have ever seen an $1800 faucet.

That's stupid money. I have a 12 dollar faucet, ok, 11 dollars, 12 just sounds more fancy. Anyway, an 11 dollar faucet we put in temporarily in our master bath 5 years ago.

It doesn't leak.

Were they buying direct? In my experience, the supply house usually deals with all that so the customer can be taken care of and not screwed over

Yep, supply houses have the buying power to get a manufacturers attention.
