Making a manifold for PEX tubing.

I am planning on using pex tubing for the fresh water in a house I am building. I wanted to make a hot and cold water manifold out of copper pipe and am unsure if after so many Tee fittings do I have to reduce the pipe size down from 1". All the outlets will be 1/2" and valved and there may be up to 12 for the cold water. I'd appreciate any info on this subject. Thank you.

Do you have a license to do plumbing work?

If you're troubling to do a manifold system, just get a Manablock and make it right. Has valves and the whole nine yards in the manifold.

I will ask again.

Who me? Yes, as a matter of fact I do, but I don't work in that trade. I'm a professional collector of licenses just to demonstrate the ridiculousness of the process.

No not you, the other electrician.

No Ron I don't have a license to do plumbing, but in the state and county I live in I am allowed to do my own house plumbing. This will be the home I live in and you won't have to worry about me trying to scab your work elsewhere.
