Forming A Caisson

We often pour pad and pier foundations. An open excavation with a big concrete pad on the bottom with a caisson on top of the pad. Monolithic pour.

I use concrete form tubes for piers 5' diameter and less.

I use custom made, steel culvert pipe for large diameter piers.

I'd like try and build a 5'-6" diameter x 4' tall pier form in our shop. I would plan to build a box out of 2X material but I need some type of sheet goods to line the form. I was considering using 3/16" hardboard sheeting.

Will it bend that radius without special tooling?
