Wow, I did not know your fire departments were against it.

It's not super common up here but is increasing bit by bit, price here is killer compared to your USA prices for installation.

As for the off gassing, once it's off gassed it's done. For safety, no you cannot spray it 8" thick in one day, which is where I see the fire problems happening, installer error.

Fire departments seem to have agendas that sometimes lack in reasoning and common sense, like the fire sprinkler issue. And the nonsense about trusses....but that said, a fire involving spray foam can be extremely toxic as I understand it, and there may be other issues, like rotting wood that has been encapsulated with foam...wood at 14% moisture and it rots from within....so I have heard.
