Spray Foam Business Question

I am an experience polyurethane flexible foam chemist that was asked to formulate for a start up spray foam business with a partnership offer. With my formulation background, how much of an advantage would it be to blend your own system rather than buy from a chemical distributor?

I would not have to contribute any capital to the start up, just my technical expertise. The contractor already has a strong footing in the surrounding area and has the contacts needed to get jobs.

Are there any pitfalls I need to be conscious of before I get into this?
